I can’t believe I’m sharing this because it’s incredibly awkward but this is the first gym interview I ever did (for Couch Gymnast). I no longer film them because I felt awkward talking while filming and I feel like the athletes don’t know where to look…at me, or into the camera. I am an awkward person in general so in this situation I was actin’ a fool. On Couch Gymnast we don’t post the full interviews, we just pull quotes for our articles, so I started audio recording instead, which feels a little less weird.

So this is Jordyn Wieber at Classics in 2010…we had about three minutes with the top three girls. I apparently have no sense of time, because this is only 1.5 minutes but I’m sure it felt like hours to me. So excuse me saying “awesome” a million times and why did I ask about what she thought about the scoring system? LOL. But enjoy. Thankfully I no longer sound this stupid when I interview people.
