Gymnastics, gymnastics, gymnastics! I'm from New York so I LOVE Team USA, but I'm also a huge fan of many international teams and athletes so my posts won't be super biased. Florida leads 148.225 to 147.7 after the third rotation!

FLORIDA (beam)

  • Randy Stageberg - beautiful press mount as usual, her hair looks suuuuper bottle blond tonight…, hip circle under the beam was her best yet, bhs layout full twist with a tiny step - 9.85
  • Rachel Spicer - steady bhs loso, wow no wobbles ANYWHERE tonight, nice gainer full stuck dismount - 9.85
  • Alaina Johnson - bhs loso was solid, front aerial was very pretty, feed froze for the rest of her routine but I think all went well - 9.85
  • Ashanee Dickerson - another steady bhs loso, front tuck was good, double tuck dismount with a step back - 9.875
  • Kytra Hunter - superb mount, bhs loso and leaps were great, love her back roll on the beam, good double back off - 9.925
  • Marissa King - missed most of it, caught it just as she landed the dismount…double twist off, NICE! - 9.95
  • Mackenzie Caquatto - what a surprise! first time up this year! interesting mount, her usual low to beam straddle stuff, looks steady in the flight series, overcooked a turn slightly and is balance checking on the leaps, full twist dismount…nice exhibition!
  • TOTAL: 49.45

GEORGIA (floor)

  • Kaylan Earls - didn’t show the beginning but she finished with a great double back - 9.8
  • Sarah Persinger - wow, her tumbling is good but her TURNS are GORGEOUS! Awesome double pike, weird back somi on the floor where she stuck her ass out weirdly, feed froze on her last pass but she finished well - 9.825
  • Kat Ding - first pass was awesome, feed froze for MOST of her routine but caught the end of the last pass which looked landed VERY low but it was on an 8 inch mat so that would make sense - 9.875
  • Mariel Box - nice opening double tuck, nice whip to 1.5 in the last pass! - 9.85
  • Gina Nuccio - big step out on the first pass, some pretty balletic choreo, huge stumble forward and went completely OOB in the last pass - 9.65
  • Noel Couch - huge double pike! Missed the rest! - 9.875
  • Nice exhibition from Chelsea Davis! Good to see two 2010 World members out there doing NCAA stuff! Guessing they’re gearing Davis up for All Around??
