Oregon State had a fantastic competition in a tri-meet against Sacramento State and UC Davis! After a pretty lackluster season, they somehow came out of the dark and had the competition of a lifetime, hitting every routine for a 197.4 total and sweeping the top titles on each event. Sacramento State finished over three points behind in second with a 194.175, and then UC Davis was third with a 193.875.

Oregon State, usually not a tough competitor on vault, was at their “worst” here tonight, earning a 49.2 total. Their lowest to count was a pair of 9.825s, and Kelsi Blalock had the first place routine with a 9.925. As usual, they were at their best on bars, where they earned a 49.425 despite a fall from Hannah Casey. Sacramento State did their best on vault, earning a 48.7 with some low scores though Kalliah McCartney’s 9.825 was the best for the team, and earned her a tie for third place. There were no falls on bars, but saw mostly 9.6-9.7 scores for a 48.575 total; Nicole Meiller was the best on this event with a 9.8 (seventh place). The team did have a couple of falls on beam, counting one and earning a 48.225. McCartney was their top performer once again, earning a 9.8 (seventh place).
